Tuesday, July 22 – I would like to do a Greek night, we’ll call it club Kalamata! We’ll grill up some chicken and lamb and break out the mandolin for some Mediterranean madness.

I just talked to Pat and she is coming up with Irv and Beth’s family on Monday and staying for dinner.
I will call Mary and Sue and see if they do indeed want to prepare a dinner. (They come in on Sunday and leave Tuesday morning so that doesn’t leave them much time, and with the above and Charles we will be a crowd. I’ll let you know the response.

Mom,
Monday night be a good night for tacos, seeing as how that went so well last year. Tacos. Yeah, I said it.
TACOS.
See what I’m getting at? (TACOS)
Just saying they (TACOS) might be good (TACOS) that night (TACOS). Just a (TACOS) suggestion.

Marianne, please pick a night to make dinner, instead of, you know, not making dinner at all.
Love, your brother Doug. Kisses and hugs, too.

I talked to Mary this morning and she agreed that while she and Sue had offered to make a meal they were quite willing to let others take over that task on the two nights they will be with us. Therefore, I am offering to make lasagna with sauce that I can make and freeze at home in advance and simply assemble at Carp. I told them that they could make salad that night (Monday — the “big” night”) if they felt like it. Since that IS the “big” night, I would be very happy if someone would take on the dessert part. I figure there will be 11 adults and 7 kids =18. Ice cream and osmetlhing seems like a good solution. I will ask the valley crew to bring some pre-dinner snacks.
